Blaaaaaaaaaaaarg!!!!

I have been back at school for only two days, but I want it to end.

...NOW!!!

Of course, even if I didn't have school I would still have to go to CCD. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a catechism class for us children of Catholics. I have to go until I get confirmed, which is in Feb. I have to go to stupid CCD partially because my dad promised my mom that until my sisters and I are 16 he'll make sure we don 't think for ourselves and partially because it will stop my grandma from kidnapping us.

Anyhoo.... I just got back from CCD and I am very proud of myself for standing up to my CCD teacher. See, she's a total bitch who doesn't totally realize that not everyone feels the same way as her and as the Catholic church. So as she was talking about how Martin Luther was an awful man and how the Catholic church is the true church because that's what Jesus called his church or whatever, and I pointed out that Martin Luther left the Catholic church to save his faith and people followed him because they realized that he was right and that it was catholic, not Catholic. In other words, it's supposed to be universal you know, following Jesus' teachings, then she went into this whole rant about how everything has bad times and Martin Luther should have worked within the church (Um, yeah, he tried. And he disproved Limbo, something the Catholic church didn't drop until a long time after) and how the Catholic church is the church Jesus started, and we're doing what Jesus did.

Which makes me wonder: Why don't Catholics keep Kosher? Jesus was a Jew, so why don't we follow any and all Jewish guidlines?

Bah humbug

Another Christmas has come and gone. Does it seem strange to anyone else that we're celebrating a suicide mission? Or that we celebrate it by chopping down trees and demanding presents from an obese old man?

But whatever, it's not like anyone really cares about stuff like that, right?

Guess how I spent my Christmas. In the car! We drove up to Pittsburgh where we're staying until Jan 30. And I feel like crap, not that it matters. I'll probably post something of relevance later.

I'm shocked nobody's found my house yet.

Let me expand on my self-description. My name is Ava, I enjoy writing, reading, and singing (among other things). My idol is Kristen Chenoweth. I hope to go to Julliard and major in musical theater, but I probably won't get in. Why? Because I'm good at singing, but I'm not The Best, and you have to be The Best to get into Julliard. However, my friend who's name I'm not allowed to use on teh internetz is freaking amazing at piano and will get in, so I'm just gonna sleep on her couch and audition for every play or musical in Manhattan, which will really fuck with a certain idiot at my school who thinks that I have no voice.

So that's just a little bit about me, but I'm too lazy to continue.
